Our clients have lots of questions when speaking with us about a personal injury case. Here are some of their most asked questions:

Why should I hire an attorney?

If you’ve been injured in a car accident and you are not at fault, the at-fault driver’s insurance will try to pay out less than what your claim is worth. The only way to know what your case could be worth is to speak with an experienced attorney.

What if the at-fault driver doesn’t have insurance?

There are times when there is no insurance policy to go after for compensation. In those instances, the injured party’s insurance policy is where to look. There is a reason why you pay your premiums. Your own policy often has a medical payment provision that can help pay your medical bills. In addition, there is what is called an Underinsured or Uninsured provision that can also be used to help compensate you for your injuries.

What do I have to pay the attorney?

The attorney only gets paid when the case is settled. You do not have to pay anything upfront. The attorneys we work with are ethical and fair. They help you recover from your injuries and pain and suffering. They want to see you get the most in your pocket, even if that means they take a bit less than customary for attorneys.

Do I have to pay for a consultation?

NO! Our attorneys meet with you in person, via phone, or Zoom to discuss your case and evaluate your individual situation. Initial consultations are always free.

What if I have large medical bills because I don’t have health insurance?

The attorney will work on your behalf to negotiate your medical bills. Healthcare providers understand they will receive payment once compensation is recovered by the attorney.
